While Karen and Danielle were here for Christmas, they took a day to go hang out with Grandma LaNae and learn to knit Grandma's famous knit stockings. Although they had a great day, Grandma said they didn't talk much, they were busy counting.

Kimberlee and I drove down later and had dinner with them. Then we checked out Mom's new job - the hospital volunteer. Mom (aka Grandma) took us on a tour of the hospital. Each floor had huge murals painted on the walls in the childrens wing. Then we went and checked out Ikea - fun store. Everywhere that we stopped for a minute, Yellie would pull out her knitting. She also knitted all the way home, then sat in bed till late in the night...you guessed it...still knitting. She has become a knitting fool. It was a great day. Danielle to date has finished one stocking and is half way done with the other. It turned out great. I will get Karen send a photo to post.
