Prairie Cornbread

Angel Shannon's Prairie Cornbread
1 lb. ground beef or sausage
1 medium onion chopped
2 pkg Jiffy corn muffin mix
1 can creamed corn
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 (7 oz) can diced green chilies
1 1/2 c grated Cheddar
*****
Saute ground beef and chopped onion until meat is brown; drain if
necessary. In large bown mix cornbread, corn and eggs together; add
milk. Pour 1/2 cornbread mixture into greased 9x13 pan. Spread meat mixture on top of cornbread, top with chilies and then cheddar.
Pour remaining cornbread over all and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

**I have made this twice now, it was a big hit both times. This is
DELICIOUS. Let me know if you try it. (I used the hamburger both
times, but I am sure the sausage would be delicious also!) This was
from the Salt Lake Tribune on October 5, 2008.

My Christmas Hero

Brad Shaw's Christmas Lights

There is a Family LAW!!! This Law has been in effect for several years. Whenever we drive into the neighborhood, we must go around the block past the Shaw home. This Home is decked out with so many lights it lights up my house a street away! It is beautiful. We only obey this law from Thanksgiving to New Years (when the lights go out for another year).

Rumor was that Brad Shaw
is getting tired of putting up all of the lights, so his sons talked him into it and they were up again...Thank Goodness! I LOVE the Lights!! What a Treat for the Neighborhood. Brad Shaw is my Hero for always putting on such a great light show. Whenever you drive into my neighborhood: Remember the Law!!!

Santa Comes to Work in Morgan!!

What an exciting day!!! Our new office was to be up and running when Santa came to visit. Even with no carpeting or interior doors, we set up a great spot for Santa -( the children and parents didn't seem to mind that it wasn't 100% finished).

Santa was so soft spoken and kind, the children loved him. He told them to be good and listen to their parents and to be sure and keep their rooms clean.

This was our first time having Santa at our office. It was such a huge success that we plan on doing it again next year. We invited all of our friends, clients and neighbors...well I guess that is pretty much the whole county of Morgan and beyond!
The photos were back quickly and given to the families before Christmas. The photos all turned out Great! Thanks Santa!!
