Movie Premier

Spur o' the moment....Kimberlee was given 4 tickets to the 7:30 pm EARLY premier of the new Harry Potter Movie. It was up in Perry. Kai won a door prize for food as we walked in. We got to have our photos taken with Hagrid and Dumbledore...they even put us in robes and we got a magic wand. (It was too embarrassing for Scott and Kai...so they walked away pretending they didn't know us.) Kimberlee and I posed very nicely....I will put the photo on when she gets it back.
Once inside we had great seats....then the raffle came...right off the bat they called Scotts #....good thing it was him, because it was a trivia question contest. Scott WON!!! Wahhoo. If it would have been me, I don't know much about the movies (or books). Scott and Yellie are the experts. Scott won a basket with candle, lotion and more. He is SO smart!!! Anyway....fun night, good movie and great company. When we came out there was a big line for the Midnight showing of Harry Potter....Lots of people dressed up. Fun nite for spur o' the moment fun!

Cindy's Friday Movie Review on Sunday

Over the Christmas Break my family all got together and went and saw the movie Marley and Me!!
What an excellent family movie. I listened to the audio book and the book is much more descriptive of the dog and family - so to be honest with you, I actually enjoyed the book more.
But....the movie was awesome too. Anyone who has ever had a dog will be able to relate to this movie. It will make you laugh, and cry. They cast Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston perfectly. This was very enjoyable and definitely worth going to. Take the kids!! By the way, this is based on a true story - those are always the best movies in my book!

Cindy's Friday Morning Movie Review

-The Curious Case of Benjamin Button-

This movie was 2 hours and 48 minutes long, but was worth every second. I think this is Brad Pitt's best movie ever. It is a story about a man who lives life backwards. (It has some great twists and turns and makes you think.)

Benjamin is born as an 80 year old man and left on the steps of an old folks home, as he grows, he fits in with the older people - as he gets younger, he sets out to explore the world. Because the story was so wonderful, the time passed quickly watching the show .

This morning, my family was still talking about the movie. I don't think young children would enjoy this show.
